Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Avaia Creative (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a small studio based in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, and we handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).
What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and to do the work you ask for:
- What you send us. Your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and anything you write in an email, a message or a form on this site.
- Project information. When we work together: business details, logins you share with us, content for your website, and invoices.
- Basic technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page, so the page can be delivered.
- How the site is used. Pages visited, how you arrived (for example from Google or a link), and roughly where you are and what device you use, collected through Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send you the audit or quote you asked for.
- To plan, build and look after your project, and to invoice you.
- To send our monthly note, but only if you subscribed. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep this website secure and working.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site, using Google Analytics.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted services to run the studio, and they process data on our behalf: our email and hosting providers, and the tools we build with, such as automation platforms, when a project needs them. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
We use Web3Forms to deliver messages sent through the forms on this site to our inbox, and Google Analytics to measure how the site is used.
Some of these providers store data outside Indonesia. When that happens, we choose providers with appropriate safeguards in place.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this site, such as which pages are read and how people find us. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google, which processes it on our behalf. The reports we see are aggregated: they don’t tell us who you are.
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell this data. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. Google explains how it uses this data in its privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and project and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you,
- correct anything that’s wrong,
- delete your information, or stop using it, where the law allows,
- stop sending you our monthly note, at any time.

Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
